Serving the Lowcountry and Coastal Empire of Georgia and South Carolina.
SouthCoast Health patients who are interested in receiving the COVID-19 vaccine are invited to join our waitlist by clicking below. In addition, please be sure to print and fill out the COVID-19 Vaccine Consent Waiver. If possible, please bring the waiver with you to your appointment to ensure a timely vaccination process.
This waitlist will be used to contact patients to schedule their vaccination. Initially, SouthCoast Health’s COVID-19 vaccination clinics will be open on Saturdays and Sundays only. Please keep in mind:
We anticipate that vaccinating everyone on our wait list will continue well into the year. If you have the opportunity to get vaccinated elsewhere sooner, we encourage you to do so.
The Georgia state immunization program has developed criteria for priority vaccination, following the recommendations of the Academy of Immunization Practices. SouthCoast Health will adhere to following the government eligibility timeline as to who receives the vaccine. At this time, patients who are 65 and older are eligible to receive the vaccination.
As more vaccine becomes available, additional groups will be added. We anticipate that vaccinating everyone on our waitlist will continue well into the year. If you have the opportunity to get vaccinated elsewhere sooner, we encourage you to do so.
At SouthCoast Health, we share a collective excitement and hopefulness surrounding the ongoing distribution of COVID-19 vaccines. COVID-19 vaccines are the key assets to help us put an end to this pandemic, and the next steps toward protecting our community, reducing the number of cases, and restoring a sense of normalcy.
The physicians at SouthCoast Health trust the science of COVID-19 vaccines and encourage all patients to get the vaccine as soon they become eligible, regardless of healthcare practice location. The vaccine, which offers up to 95% protection against Covid-19, was deemed safe and effective by the FDA.
While you are waiting to receive the vaccine, SouthCoast Health encourages everyone to continue practicing safety measures. This includes covering your mouth and nose with a mask when in public, staying at least 6 feet away from others, avoiding crowds, and washing your hands frequently. These practices should continue after you are vaccinated as well.
As we continue working together toward overcoming this pandemic, please remember SouthCoast Health remains here for you today and tomorrow as a trusted source of community healthcare and information. Please refer to our website and social media channels for the latest updates.
Dr. Ben Watson shared that our Savannah, Richmond Hill, and Pooler locations started vaccinating the practice’s patients who are 65+ this month.
