Pamela Stewart is a board certified Family Nurse Practitioner at SouthCoast Health working with adult populations. After becoming a Registered Nurse, Pam decided to get her Masters in Nursing from the University of Phoenix in Phoenix, Arizona. Following that, she received her post-masters certificate for Family Nurse Practitioner from South University in Savannah, Georgia.
“I was inspired by nurses who cared for me during an extended hospital stay after the birth of my last child”, states Pam. “Their caring and compassion made me want to do the same for others. I hope I can bring some calm and healing to patients.”
Pam enjoys the experience of working with patients to understand why they are having health issues and coming up with a plan to improve their health and life or just helping them to stay healthy and happy. She is a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners and Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society.
In her spare time, Pam enjoys spending time with her husband and daughters. She also enjoys yoga, walking on the beach and just being outside as long as it isn’t too hot.
