Biography:

As an internist, my knowledge, experience, insight and keen attention to detail come together when evaluating and treating my patients. My goal is to help all of my internal medicine patients achieve their optimal health through wellness and prevention. I believe the key to reaching healthcare goals is forming a close doctor-patient partnership and sincerely caring, listening, educating and advocating for my patients. I get to know everyone well beyond their immediate needs and address all concerns - big and small.

In my MDVIP-affiliated personalized healthcare practice, I am able to offer non-hurried, same-day or next-day appointments, and I am available during and after hours. These conveniences, similar to services offered in a concierge medical practice, combined with the advanced lab panels and tests included in the MDVIP Wellness Program allow me to be an advocate and a coach, as well as a primary care doctor.

My specialized interests include men’s and women’s health issues, primary prevention, animal bites and stings, diabetes prevention, cardiovascular disease, lipid management, asthma, cholesterol disorders, diabetes and obesity.

My primary care practice serves the coastal regions of South Carolina, Georgia, and North Florida, as well as Savannah, Pooler, Darien, Waycross, and Midway, Georgia. I am an attending physician on staff at the St. Joseph's/Candler Hospital. Additionally, I have been on the Bryan County Board of Health for 15 years.
