Amanda completed her Masters of Science in Nursing from the University or North Alabama in Florence, Alabama. She chose to become a Nurse Practitioner because of both her love for people and her love for learning.
“Healthcare is constantly changing so there is always something to learn”, states Amanda, “but something that always remains the same, is that people need someone that they can feel comfortable discussing concerns with. I want to create that safe space for them. “
Providing education to her patients is what she loves most about her job. She loves to see the light bulb go off when a patient clearly understands what is going on and why a particular treatment plan is put in place.
In her free time, Amanda enjoys kayaking, hiking, days on the beach, and coffee drinking.
