Medical imaging is the technique, process and art of creating visual representations of the interior of a body for clinical analysis and medical intervention.
Medical imaging seeks to reveal internal structures hidden by the skin and bones, as well as to diagnose and treat disease. Medical imaging also establishes a database of normal anatomy and physiology to make it possible to identify abnormalities.
SouthCoast Health Imaging is a comprehensive, multi-modality outpatient imaging center with locations in Savannah and Richmond Hill.
We understand the importance of an accurate diagnosis. That's why our Imaging Centers have the latest equipment and technology to support our highly skilled technologists and board-certified physicians.
We participate in the American College of Radiology's RADPEER™ program for quality and safety and strictly adhere to all applicable local, state and federal regulatory guidelines.
We are also committed to patient satisfaction and administer periodic patient and clinician satisfaction surveys to find out what we do well and how we can improve. In addition, we are committed to timely reporting of results. In most cases, examination results will be sent to your physician within 48 hours.
