Welcome Drs. Waldron, Arthur, and Everhart to the practice

Patients looking for a Primary Care physician or an Infectious Disease expert can choose with confidence. SouthCoast Health, a medical leader across the Coastal Empire and Lowcountry, is excited to welcome Dr. Catherine WaldronDr. James Everhart, and Dr. Lauren Arthur to its ever-growing roster of board-certified medical experts in our Primary CareInfectious Disease, and Surgery departments.

Dr. Waldron has joined the SouthCoast Health Primary Care team in Richmond Hill. A Georgia native from St. Simons Island, she graduated with honors from the University of Georgia and earned a medical degree from Mercer University School of Medicine. Dr. Waldron completed residency training at Memorial Health University Medical Center in Savannah where she was designated as chief resident. Dr. Waldron is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians and Georgia Academy of Family Physicians. She is board certified with the American Board of Family Medicine. Dr. Everhart has joined the SouthCoast Health Infectious Disease team in Savannah. Dr. Everhart’s interest in infectious diseases began when he worked as a medical technician at Rutherford County Adult Detention Center. He enjoys educating patients on the importance of infection prevention and promoting patient safety. After completing his undergrad at Pensacola Christian College in Pensacola, Florida, Dr. Everhart received his doctoral degree in osteopathy from Lincoln Memorial University-DeBusk College of Osteopathic Medicine in Harrogate, Tennessee. Additionally, he completed an internal medicine internship and residency at Adena Regional Medical Center in Chillicothe, Ohio. He is board certified in infectious disease with the American Board of Internal Medicine. Dr. Everhart is accepting new patients and you can learn more about him here.

Dr. Arthur has joined the SouthCoast Health Surgery team in Savannah. Growing up, she dreamed of one day becoming a veterinarian. However, Dr. Arthur’s interests transitioned to traditional medicine. After graduating from the University of Queensland School of Medicine - Ochsner Clinical School in Brisbane, Queensland, Australia and New Orleans, Louisiana, she developed a passion for general surgery and then completed the Ochsner Clinical School Oncology Post-Doctoral Research Fellowship. Next, Dr. Arthur completed both her general surgery residency and surgery research fellowship at East Carolina University in Greenville, North Carolina. She is board certified with the American Board of Surgery. Dr. Arthur is accepting new patients and you learn more about her here.
