Friday, June 20, 2025

Please be aware that beginning Friday, June 20, 2025, the Chatham Parkway bridge over I-16 will be fully closed for construction. This closure is expected to last approximately 20 days, through early July.

How This May Affect You:

  • Our office at 9 Chatham Center South, Savannah may be impacted by increased traffic and detours in the surrounding area.
  • All I-16 entrance and exit ramps at Chatham Parkway will remain open but turn restrictions will be in place.
  • You WILL NOT be able to cross over I-16 via the Chatham Parkway overpass

What You Can Do:

  • Allow extra travel time to avoid delays.
  • Use alternate routes or follow posted detour signs.
  • Check real-time traffic updates via 511GA.org or your preferred GPS app (Note: Not all navigation apps may reflect the detours – please follow signage and posted speed limits).

We appreciate your patience during this Georgia DOT improvement project and look forward to seeing you safely at your appointment.

Thank you,
