As National Breastfeeding Month comes to a close, we’re proud to share that our very own Dr. Jenna Sirmans, pediatrician and certified lactation consultant at SouthCoast Health’s Richmond Hill office, was featured in the Bryan County News. In the article, Dr. Sirmans highlighted the many benefits of breastfeeding for both mothers and infants, from helping with postpartum recovery to lowering risks for certain illnesses.
