SouthCoast Health is excited to welcome Savannah Grunhard, MD, to our team of trusted medical experts. Dr. Grunhard joins our Primary Care Department with a focus on Internal Medicine and is now seeing patients at our Richmond Hill campus (89 Interchange Drive, Richmond Hill, GA 31324).
A native of Covington, Georgia, Dr. Grunhard earned her medical degree from Mercer University School of Medicine, where she was one of only 10 students selected for Mercer’s prestigious Guaranteed Admission Program. She went on to complete her internal medicine residency at Memorial Health University Medical Center in Savannah.
As a primary care physician, Dr. Grunhard is passionate about building long-term relationships with her patients. She values the collaborative nature of medicine and finds fulfillment in improving lives through continuity of care and trust.
Beyond her medical practice, Dr. Grunhard is actively involved in her church, participates in weekly Bible study, and mentors college students in her congregation. She also volunteers with a Savannah-based animal rescue organization. In her free time, she enjoys reading, exercising, exploring new restaurants, visiting the beach, spending time with loved ones, and walking her dog.
